IT Governance Framework Implementation

COBIT has become one of the most common IT Governance frameworks. Supported by the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the latest version, Version 4.1, was released in May, 2007.

According to information published by ISACA, "COBIT is an IT governance framework and supporting toolset that allows managers to bridge the gap between control requirements, technical issues and business risks. COBIT enables clear policy development and good practice for IT control throughout organizations. COBIT emphasizes regulatory compliance, helps organizations to increase the value attained from IT, enables alignment and simplifies implementation of the COBIT framework."

COBIT helps bridge the gaps between business risks, control needs and technical issues. It provides good practices across a domain and process framework and presents activities in a manageable and logical structure.

Iceberg assists our clients not only with COBIT implementations but also by providing on-going support to the management team to ensure that the implementations are effective.
